I am about 5’9 and 145 pounds. I know I’m not overweight, but I want to be really ripped. I would like to lose ten pounds before the summer. I know its possible. I’ve been trying since last year. I’ve lost 5 pounds, but I’ve gained it back and lost it about five times. I want to be 135 pounds. Every time I ask for help I get the same answers so please be a little more creative. Also I’m 15 years old. I don’t have a lot of control with food. I am getting very in-confident about my body. Its mostly my stomach and legs.
I am not prepared to take any diet pills, supplements, fat burners, etc. I basically have my workouts down pat. I need help more with controlling my eating.

I have been watching movies like Fat Head and Super Size Me and have come to the conclusion that no one knows what a healthy diet is other than eating fruits and vegetables. Should I count calories or carbs, one side says eat fewer calories to lose weight, but the other says eat less grains and count carbs. I am trying to lower my body fat and would like to also lose about five or ten pounds as I begin to start running again, I work out about an hour a day doing circuit training and weights. I tend to get shin splints when I run and I am sure the extra weight (muscle or fat) on my upper body isn’t good for my legs. I am aware of the government food pyramid and what they recommend, but every other day I hear some other diet fad and have heard some crazy conspiracy theories about them being biased toward grain farmers. I am just looking for a diet that promotes body fat loss and mild muscle gain that is not going to cause any unnecessary inflammation of the body. I know the steps to make the shin splints mild, but my job requires a lot of running, don’t recommend how to stop shin splints, just focus the answers on the diet portion and be specific if you can, not ‘you should just eat a well rounded diet with few sweets and salty foods’ I know that chocolate cake and potato chips are bad. My big thing is wondering whether carb counting results in proper weight management, if grain does cause inflammation and if dairy is unhealthy, I heard something about humans not being able to digest it properly.

pretty much everything that comes natural from nature. water does. veg/fruit do. meats/eggs also do. whole grain breads, nuts ,etc. its that simple
